One of the major attractions of all the different areas of France is the local cuisine and the accompanying fruit of the vine.

 

The Charente and the Charente Maritime are rich in local delicacies and we aim to bring you a selection of local producers of both food and local wines, and, of course Cognac. The landscape is dominated by vineyards largely dedicated to the world famous drink but, in addition local wines are now well established as well as the delicious Pineau des Charentes.
